About Us
The Macon-Bibb County Office of Workforce Development is the administrative entity for the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998, which superseded the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA). WIA is a federally funded Department of Labor program that provides employability training to adults, dislocated workers, and youth.
