Patrol Division

Macon Police Department Partol consists of the traffic section and teams of police located strategically throughout the city. Patrol officers are assigned to one of four precincts:

Area I

• PRECINCT ONE, East Macon
• PRECINCT TWO, South Macon

Area II

• PRECINCT THREE, North Macon
• PRECINCT FOUR, West Macon

Patrol also consists of many specialized, including:

• Mobile Command Unit
• SWAT
• K-9
• Bike Patrol
• Parking Enforcement
• Traffic Enforcement, including Fatality Investigation and the DUI Squad
• Victim-Witness Assistance
• Hostage Negotiators
• Honor Guard
